The course is twelve months in duration, functioning on a part-time, mixed-mode educational basis. Students meet for tutorials on one full weekend each calendar month, for intensive academic and practical ‘hands-on’ sessions. There is also a one day visit to the Bristol Veterinary College Equine Unit, and a visit to the Hartpury Equine College Therapy Unit. The study requirement outside of tutorial weekends is substantial, comprising: ● ● Various academic assignments, together with the   production of a significant project on diseases and an overall course dissertation.
